It won’t always be remembered as
the year of the mask but for the foreseeable future that will be one of the memories of Mississippi 811’s 2020 Summit.
It was a celebration of sorts in that so many of the attendees were visiting
face to face for the first time in many months. The sessions were lively and interactive. Ideas were challenged and options discussed in an open and free environment for ideas. Many told me that from a content perspective, they thought this to be one of the best. The exhibit hall was hopping, it had the atmosphere of a country family reunion. All that was missing was a horseshoe tournament and a drunk uncle nobody could find. People were excited to be part of a live event promoting damage prevention and public
